Note	I found citations where Winnie's name is written as Winnie and Winifred. And I have found her name written as Farmer and Farnham. Majority of records have her name as Farmer. I do not believe she is Winnie Farmer from Benedicta, Maine. Marriage and child records do not correspond with her marriage with Frank Emery. Winnie married Hugh Gorman 10/25/1893.All records cite her as caucasian as well as all descendants. If you view official records her life begins with the 1900 census.1910, 1920, 1930 censuses list her father as from Northern Ireland and her mother born in Maine.Is dad's last name Farmer or Farnham?I did find Charles &amp; Ada Farmer who arrived in 1909 with a daughter named Winnie.This is what I surmise at this time: Dad emigrated from Northern Ireland, mom is from Maine. Mom may not be caucasian. At this time I cannot find vital records for Winifred Farmer before the 1900 census.
