Laurel Lake, New Jersey – Lawrence Hollis Mosley Jr., age 70, passed away on June 28, 2023 from a heart attack while doing the thing he loved, working in his yard. Lawrence was born in Sullivan, Maine and then lived in Laurel Lake, New Jersey until his death.

Known to his family and friends as Larry, he started his horseman career at the age of 6, working with his western ponies. Larry spent his childhood on the coast of Frenchman Bay, Sullivan Maine. He finished his education at North Yarmouth Academy in North Yarmouth, Maine.

After graduation, he continued his career as a horse trainer and a horse show judge in Kentucky, where he worked with a variety of horse breeds such as saddlebreds and thoroughbreds. Larry won many championships with 2 of his cherished horses "Banquet Bell" and "Wing Commander".

During Larry's retirement he loved working in his yard. He spent as much time as possible tending to his flower gardens and his Bonsai trees.

Larry was an artist. He had a great passion for his art and had a real eye for design. One of his paintings is now hanging in the River Front Renaissance Art Center Gallery in Millville, New Jersey. He also participated in many "Plein Air" events to work on his painting skills.

Lawrence Hollis Mosley Mosley, Jr, died on 28 June 2023 at age ~70 in Laurel Lake, Cumberland, New Jersey, United States.

Franklin, Maine - Gloria Reed Mosley, 88, passed away on April 7, 2018, at a local health care facility. Her strong will and health succumbed to dementia, which she fought valiantly for several years. Gloria was born on October 16, 1929, in Franklin, the youngest of six children born to the late E. Dalton and Della Goodwin Reed.

Gloria had a feisty spirit which endeared her to the children she fed while cooking for many years at Mountain View School. Her many friends and acquaintances will remember her quick wit, and sharp responses.
