A lifelong resident of Denmark, Don owned and operated the Village Store and Agway Feed Co. He was also the founder of Monson Oil Company, which is now Downeast Energy. Don’s passion for the outdoors also led him to receive his certification as a registered Maine guide. Don was a dedicated family man who passed on lasting lessons, memories of outdoor adventures, and traditions to his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. These great gifts will be cherished and handed down for generations to come. He enjoyed hunting and fishing trips with his family and friends. He and Marion spent several winters’ ice fishing at their log cabin on Sand Pond and their summers traveling to northern Maine.
